Race Report – 9 November 021  Rangitumau/Kaka Amu GRR

On a beautiful Wairarapa evening 49 riders presented themselves to the start line for the evening race. The course started at Double Bridges, headed north to Mauriceville turning at Hauoma Lime works before returning south to the finish line located part way up Rangitumau. The short course had 5 starters who turned at Kopuaranga Hall.

There were 5 grades A to E on the 32km largely flat course with the final 2km being the undulating but punchy climb up Rangitumau. Of note was the B grade who were only seconds slower than the A grade and the C grade with the first three finishers separated by the narrowest of margins.
