Team Time Trial Results

The kapiti cycle club had the honour of taking home the Hope Gibbins Shield for 2015 with there A team of Antony Nalder Neil Harwood,Mike Proudfoot,Adam Johnston  completing the 40km coarse in a time of 55:41 followed by two of our local teams .

But they didn’t get it all there way as the local team of Emily Karen, Kirsten and Lesley taking out the president cup for the female class.

 A great effort by Scots College for putting up 6 teams in the school category with there A team putting up a time of 28:35 over the 15km distance .

It was a stunning day with conditions perfect for a tt with split times for the half way probably very similar compared to other club events where splits differ as much as 10 to 15 minutes .It was a great turn out of both riders and supporters with 111 riders over 28 teams taking part . The team time trial format allows riders of any ability to team up with friends of similar strength and take on the challenge together and get to share the fun .  So thank you everyone that helped or took part and hope to see you all next time.
