About Central Wairarapa BMX 

After forming in the early 1980’s and folding in the mid 90’s a group of enthusiasts set about to return the Masterton BMX track to its former glory. That was 2017, with great plans come many trials and after fundraising efforts and some serious earthworks 2020 rolled around and things ground to a halt for a while. The stars aligned, and we found our guy to rebuild the start gate, so as this progressed over the last 2 years and more funding was sought, we have been beavering away as a group of 6 core volunteers maintaining the works to date and additional improvements on our weekends and public holidays.
