The running section of the club operates year round with a variety of road, cross country and mixed trail/road events.

Cross Country

Welcome the 2021 Cross Country season.  The first race will be on the 18th April at 10.00am. See you there.

ssGR Series

This series is named after an ACM stalwart and life member, Graeme Roberts (GR). It includes 9 events, with courses on and off road across a range of distances. The series usually starts in August from the Clubrooms. Given the uncertainty around COVID-19 restrictions we will provide details of events as we go. Check out the events page or our Facebook page.

ACM 5 km Series

This free public series begins after the Christmas break. It includes six fortnightly races starting 17 January 2021. Based from the ACM club rooms, Blair Street, starting at 9:00am. Each run will be over the same 5km course.  A shorter course will be available for children.  Morning tea will be available at the clubrooms.

MarathonMar

The biggest event on the running calendar is the annual Wairarapa Country Marathon, Half Marathon and 10 & 5 km fun runs and walks.  Date TBC. Full details on our Marathon page.

 

champClub Championships and Trophies

Club Championships are held at the end of the Cross Country and GR series. Only financial members are eligible for Trophies but all are welcome to participate. In 2021 the trophies awarded were consolidated with a number retired and some new ones added. You can view a complete historical list of trophy winners here.
